Welcome to Salem and Marion/Polk Counties

The Capital City - the Cherry City in the heart of the Willamette Valley. From Bush Park to Minto Brown and east to Silver Falls or Detroit Lake or west to Grande Ronde you can find the type of neighborhood and home you are looking for in Marion or Polk County.

Keizer hosts the annual Iris Festival and Parade, Independence & Monmouth boast a large 4th of July celebration. In the fall, head on out of town to the bustling community of Aumsville for the Corn Festival or Mt Angel for Octoberfest.  Grande Ronde features year around entertainment at the Spirit Mountain Casino.

As winter sets in marvel in the lighted displays in every community. Have you always wanted to be part of a community that makes Christmas special? The perfect home awaits you in the Christmas lights district of Keizer. In these homes, we find special electrical outlets and extra panels to accommodate the magnifice
nt light displays.

Downtown Salem is host to the historic homes of the State Capital. Many different construction styles are represented and each home with it’s unique history. Across the Willamette river and built over the rolling hills is the West Salem community. The homes in this area are often built over a basement and overlooking the valley below.

The community of Monmouth is home of Western Oregon University and until recently was one the few remaining “dry” towns in the United States, preventing the sale of all alcoholic beverages. Monmouth and Independence work together to provide their residents with a common school district and fire department, taking advantage of the population of both areas to add to the livability.

Originally named Cynthian, Dallas has a population over 15,000 and is the county seat of Polk County.  In the past, Dallas has been considered the 'bedroom community' of those working in Salem, but now is considered a self supporting close-knit community on it's own.  It has some fabulous restaurants and eateries and they host the local SummerFest, formerly called Crazy Dayz.
